The Salaam gang and friends were on hand for the Kid Rock & Foreigner show on August 27, 2022, at the PNC Bank Arts Center. As a team with Crescent Shrine, they sold over 900 CDs for the Philadelphia Children’s Hospital System.
That’s over $18,000 going to the hospital in one fell swoop! Pretty Good!

Concert coordinator John Cataldo got the troops together and combined with
Crescent Shrine, had over 50 volunteers on hand. Each year, local shrines in proximity to major concert venues are offered an opportunity to attend the show and sell the CDs of the latest albums of the performers. All proceeds benefit Shriners Hospitals For Children. Event coordinator Noble John Cataldo is always looking for more volunteers. It is open to participation from anyone you like. Not a bad deal as you pick up a free T-shirt and a great view of the show! Contact the office for more details and to be placed on the rotating list of volunteers.
