The Sisters of Christian Charity, a congregation of Nuns located in Mendham, New Jersey, collect tabs for our kids! Noble Gordon Fleming, Chairman of the Salaam Shepherds, is pictured here with some of the sisters on a pickup of approximately 15 pounds of tabs!
Sister Mary (pictured right) received inspiration to start collecting tabs from one of the younger interns located on the campus. Ever since then, the sisters have been poppin and ripping tabs with consistency! Both Nobles Gordon Fleming and fellow shepherd Paul M. Ferreira have been on the pickup runs with the Sisters.
Inspired by the life of Pauline Von Mallinckrodt, the Sisters work in a variety of ministries including education, healthcare, pastoral work, retreat and spiritual centers, and also social work. If you want to see one of the most beautiful and untouched acres of rolling hills in Morris County, this is the spot to see!
