1st Responders Night in Honor of Whippany Fire Department & Cold Sands for 7 New Nobles of Salaam Shrine

On Monday June 17th members of Hanover Township Committee members Brian Cahill and Ron Francioli were in attendance for Salaam Shrine’s 1st Responder’s Night in honor of Whippany Fire Department. Fire Chief Paul Perrello, Captain Ian Bell, Firefighters John Wittnebert and Frank Tursi received a brand-new fire apparatus from Salaam Shriners. A good dinner was had by all as well as Salaam welcomed 7 new Nobles to the Oasis. The new nobles were Fezzed by their ladies who were also treated with presentations from Ill. Sir Williams and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Governors of Shriners Hospitals for Children Philadelphia Ill. Sir DiGaetano. A good time was had by all and the Hanover Township Committee and Whippany Fire Department explained that they will soon be receiving the 1st ladder truck ever in the township of Hanover and this apparatus will be the 1st piece of equipment to go into service to the community courtesy of Salaam Shriners.
