A wonderful lady resides in East Hanover with a striving dance school. Her name is Danielle Delvescovo. She is the proprietor and founder of a Dancing School called “Dancing with Danielle.” Every year she embarks on a project entitled FUNdraiser. Its an annual holiday concert that her dance students (of all age ranges) perform rehearsed sequences for family and friends. It is quite the event averaging about 130 parents, grandparents, and friends who turn out to support family!

Shriners Hospitals for Children has been close to Danielle’s heart for a long time. She likes identifying with local causes in support of others and donates 75% of the FUNdraiser profits to Shriners Hospitals for Children annually. She also includes in the holiday show a basket raffle of an assortment of offerings. This year, Salaam organized support and donated seven baskets and offerings from a number of nobles to help support the cause. Considering all Danielle and her team do for our flagship charity it’s the least we can do as a Chapter of local Shriners.

Additionally, the Motor Corps unit offers representation by bringing the little cars for all the kids to see and enjoy! On this particular day of December 19. 2021, I would be remiss if I did not thank the outstanding efforts of Jim Messineo the head of the Salaam Motor Corps! Jimmy was there on a blistering Cold December afternoon with his car stationed at the entry door to the event. It’s a huge hit with kids and the adults alike!

This year was yet another stellar year for Dancing with Danielle. They will deliver a check for over $10,000 to be donated to Shriners Hospitals! Wow Danielle! You have done it again! We are so honored to have you as a sustaining partner in our collaborative efforts in support of our flagship Philanthropy! It’s folks like Danielle and her team that bring a smile to our hearts!
