Nobles all, my sincere gratitude on my Installation as Potentate of Salaam Temple! We have assembled a solid team to lead us into 2026 and beyond. My sincere thank you to ILL. Sir’s Andrew Kuo and Joseph Hummel as Installing Chair & Installing Marshal respectively. These two gentlemen have played a pivotal role in my development and the Temple’s standing of success. Each of them is uniquely qualified and motivated for the betterment of Salaam.
Also special thank you to the Legion of Honor lead by noble Charles Secallus, Commander, Ill. Sir Paul Di Gaetano, and Noble Michael Firkser. They brought in the colors, posted them, and then proceeded to lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Looking sharp in their uniforms with Ascots! I am so happy to see where they have come in the past two short years!
Both the Oriental Band and the Motor Corps presented year end donations. Another nice thing to see. I thank them for their on-going support.
A favorite phrase is “You must plan the work and you must work, the plan”. It was a motto first copied by me as Worshipful Master of Euclid Lodge in 2003. It was a pathway to earning Lodge of the Year awarded at the time by MW Larry S. Plaskett whom I served under. It is still displayed at my lodge. That pathway to growth coupled with our motto my year as Grand Marshal of New Jersey was; “Community First”. These have highlighted my pathways and my Masonic avenues of growth.
